5 Great tips to stay amazing this summer!

Looking for ways to stay cool and healthy this summer?

Read this week's blog for 5 tips to look and feel younger as you're battling the summer heat.​


  Get grounded. Get dirty and on your knees in your garden by planting some new flowers or water-resistant succulents. By working with and feeling the soil, you’ll be more connected to the nature and world around you. ​ Plus, by standing barefoot on the grass, you’ll be getting grounded to the earth’s natural, calming vibration.​


  Get those shades on. Be sure to wear sunglasses that contain 99% protection against ultraviolet A and ultraviolet B rays. ​ This will not only help prevent those wrinkles by your eyes but also protect against developing cataracts.​


  Go lighter with your drinks! Choosing a more refreshing and lighter alcoholic beverage will help you cool off from the summer heat and also reduce the alcoholic content. ​ Think wine spritzer or cool seltzer.​


  Go for the berries! Strawberries, blueberries and blackberries are in season so get them while they’re fresh and delicious. ​ Berries are loaded with antioxidants that help promote immune system health and fight off inflammation, reducing the aging processes.​


  Go for the shade and the water. ​ Exercise is great during the summer, but try to avoid the midday heat and sun by exercising early in the morning, before 10 am or after 4 pm when the UV rays are less harmful. ​ Hydrate with at least ½ of your body weight in ounces of water. ​ For example, if you weigh 140 lbs, drink at least 70 ounces of water/ day, plus more if you’re exercising.​
